Meet Maureen
A coach, educator, and lifelong advocate for growth and self-discovery.
For over 20 years, I worked in education as a Teacher, School Counsellor, Special Educational Needs Coordinator, Wellbeing Coordinator and School Principal. During that time, I walked alongside hundreds of teens and young adults as they faced one of life’s hardest questions: “Who am I, and where am I going?” I’ve seen first hand the weight of expectations and the confusion that comes with standing at the edge of adulthood. For young people, and for the parents who support them, my role is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clarity, confidence, and direction can emerge, encouraging growth and self-trust.
But my journey didn’t stop there.
After two decades in a career I had poured my whole self into, I reached a breaking point. Burnout forced me to step back and ask those same questions I had once asked my students. At the same time, I had been living with endometriosis for years — a private and isolating struggle that eventually led to a total hysterectomy at 42, catapulting me into surgical menopause long before I was ready. These moments — raw, painful, but transformative — pushed me to rediscover who I really was beyond the roles I played.
Choosing to take the path of uncertainty, I decided to reassess my ‘why’ and embark on a healing, transformative journey that has led me to the truest version of myself so far. This journey has brought together my Jay Shetty Coaching School Certification, a long-standing career in education, and my own personal life experience — all of which have shaped the coaching practice I now lead with deep purpose and passion.
I am passionate about working with women who feel like they’ve lost themselves somewhere along the way. Women who have given so much to others — through career, family, and responsibility — but are ready to finally reconnect with their own voice, purpose, and sense of self because I know first hand what that journey is like and how rewarding it is to choose to show up for you!
At its heart, my work is about helping people uncover their why — the thread that connects who they are with where they want to go. Whether you’re a young adult taking your first steps into the future, a parent looking for support for your child, or a woman ready to rediscover herself, this is a safe, non-judgemental space for honesty growth and renewal.
Because no matter your age or stage, it’s never too late — or too early — to discover your why.
